Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! Go to settings and select the 'Generate QR labels' button. From there you can select which hives, and the sheet label configuration you want to use.
Any 2"x 2" square labels in a 12 or 20 labels per 8.5" x 11" sheet should work. We highly recommend water resistant or water proof labels to ensure they last while outdoors.
Depending on what type of label and hive types you use it may be difficult to stick them directly to your hive. We recommend buying tags (Amazon link describe what they are) sticking the QR codes to the tags and then using a short wood screw to attach it to your hive. In lieu of tags you can use most smooth materials (plastic, sheet metal, etc)
Go to the hive details for that specific hive (hives tab, then click on the hive) and click on the QR code button. Then select 'replace QR code'. It should then allow you to use your camera to scan the purchased QR code and use it for that hive.
Not yet! This will be added in an app update soon!
Yes. All hives must belong to an apiary.
No! Multi-hive log is made for this exact purpose. This can be found on the dashboard. Select the multi-hive log button and then select all hives you want to log. When the log is saved it will apply to all selected hives.
Smart log uses AI models which cost us money each time it is used. At this time we are unable to offer this to users on the free plan.
Data storage and usage costs scale with the number of hives and apiaries. We want everyone to be able to try the app, but we can't offer unlimited access without a pro subscription. This is why we offer an initial 30 day free trial where you can have unlimited hives, apiaries and have access to pro features like smart log before deciding if you want to subscribe.
Your voice is first transcribed and then sent to an AI model with other proprietary information developed by the team. Using the output from this model the app is able to automatically fill out all log types (inspection, treatment, feeding, harvesting).
