1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Appco LLC (“Appco,” “we”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains your information when you use the Hive Trackr mobile application.
2. Information We Collect

3. How We Use Your Information
Deliver and maintain the App’s core features
Process subscriptions and verify entitlement
Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
Send optional push notifications and (opt-out) marketing emails
Conduct aggregated, anonymized analytics
Detect, prevent, and address abuse
4. Legal Bases / Applicable U.S. Law
We rely on your consent (e.g., marketing emails, push notifications) and on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
Firebase Services (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Cloud Functions)
Google Gemini, OpenAI, or other LLM providers for temporary transcription/AI processing
Payment Platforms (Apple, Google) for subscription management
Email Service Provider (TBD) for optional newsletters
Service providers required to operate the App (all bound by confidentiality)
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
6. Email Marketing
By creating an account you may receive occasional product-update emails. Each email includes an unsubscribe link; you may also email us to opt out.
7. Push Notifications
You receive push notifications only if you grant permission in your device settings. You can disable them at any time in the App or device settings.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Access / Delete: Email support@hivetrackr.com to request a copy or deletion of your personal data.
Account Deletion: In-app account deletion removes personal data within 7 days. Aggregated, anonymized analytics are retained.
Opt Out of Marketing: Use the unsubscribe link or contact us.
9. Data Security
We secure data via Firebase security rules, network encryption (TLS), Firebase App Check, and least-privilege access controls. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
10. Data Retention
Personal data: kept for the life of your account and erased within 14 days after confirmed deletion or inactivity requests.
Backups: encrypted and purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
Aggregated/anonymous analytics: retained indefinitely.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy and will post the new version in-app or on our website with a new “last updated” date.
